Press kit
Habit apps take your word for it. ScribeXP checks.
ScribeXP is a real-life RPG for iPhone. You make a pixel-art hero, pick daily quests, and check in each night. Quests that Apple Health, the in-app focus timer or an in-app photo can confirm earn Verified XP; everything else is clearly marked self-reported. There's no account and no server: your data stays on your iPhone.

How verification works
- Apple Health: workouts, steps and sleep recorded by an iPhone or Apple Watch verify fitness quests. Entries typed into Health by hand don't count.
- Focus timer: deep-work quests verify with an in-app timer that pauses when you leave the app.
- In-app photos: some quests verify with a photo taken in the app, not one picked from the library.
Privacy
No account and no server. Apple Health data is read on the iPhone, used only to check quests, and never leaves it. No ads and no ad tracking.
What else is in it
- 100 levels across six ranks, from Recruit to Unbreakable, with titles and gear to unlock
- Fergus, Grand Mage of the Hero's Guild, who breaks your hero out of a prison of excuses in the opening scene
- A level-up celebration, a reward chest, and a share card for every level-up
- Check-in reminders, and a last call before a streak ends
- Quest Crossing, an endless pixel road-and-moat crossing game that never touches your real XP
